When SCT's services are combined, the psychotherapist and/or clinical psychologist becomes an integral part of the clinical team at the facility by filling gaps of service and adding a holistic element to the care of each resident.

Program Services
The clinical psychologist and psychotherapist's collective responsibilities include a combination of the following services:
Medication Management

Review medications to monitor effectiveness, interactions, side effects, etc. as part of a maintenance/preventive initiative. Recommend adjustments to medication and if necessary treatment as needed.
Mental Status Management

Monitor residents' mental status utilizing appropriate examination methods, also as part of the maintenance/preventive initiative. Recommend adjustments to medication and/or treatment as needed.
On-site Clinical Psychologists

Be available to visit patients in real time as needed or requested by the facility staff to perform appropriate psychological evaluations and treatment programs.
Psychotherapy

Provide supplemental psychotherapy services when additional coverage is necessary.
