Our Dedicated Psychotherapists and Clinical Psychologists
When SCT's services are combined, the psychotherapist and/or clinical psychologist becomes an integral part of the clinical team at the facility by filling gaps of service and adding a holistic element to the care of each resident.
The psychotherapy program provides the facility with following benefits:
Comprehensive Enhanced Overall Health Care
Reduced Stress for facility staff members
Increased perceived value of facility
The clinical psychologist and psychotherapist's collective responsibilities include a combination of the following services:
Review medications to monitor effectiveness, interactions, side effects, etc. as part of a maintenance/preventive initiative. Recommend adjustments to medication and if necessary treatment as needed.
Mental Status Management
Monitor residents' mental status utilizing appropriate examination methods, also as part of the maintenance/preventive initiative. Recommend adjustments to medication and/or treatment as needed.
On-site Clinical Psychologists
Be available to visit patients in real time as needed or requested by the facility staff to perform appropriate psychological evaluations and treatment programs.
Provide supplemental psychotherapy services when additional coverage is necessary.
